Not much different from the rest of them. It's good for what it is...

Love, love, love this series. So many likeable charchters that it is hard to choose a favourite... well, okay... it's Pirate. Yeah the dog! A series that is developing well and will gladly buy more from this hilarious author, well done Angie! ( )

Lizzie goes to Greece with Dimitri for a vacation, to meet his family, and to train with her new teacher, but she ends up getting more than she bargained for when evil starts attacking Dimitri's ancestral home.

This is my favorite in the series so far. Fox has clearly found her stride. The problems seen in the previous books are taken care of. The sex scenes are believable. There is real world heart to the story--can Dimitri and Lizzie make their differences work to be in a strong relationship? Characters are more well-rounded, and the paranormal world Fox has created makes more sense. I'm eagerly anticipating the next entry in the series and am glad the humor in the previous two books kept me around.

Haiku summary

"Last month, I was a single preschool teacher whose greatest thrill consisted of color-coding my lesson plans. That was before I learned I was a slayer. Now, it's up to me to face curse-hurling imps, vengeful demons, and any other supernatural uglies that crop up. And to top if off, a hunk of a shape-shifting griffin has invited me to Greece to meet his family. But it's not all sun, sand, and ouzo. Someone has created a dark-magic version of me with my powers and my knowledge--and it wants to kill me and everyone I know. Of course, this evil twin doesn't have Grandma's gang of biker witches, a talking Jack Russell terrier, or an eccentric necromancer on its side. In the ultimate showdown for survival, may the best demon slayer win."--p.[4] of cover.… (more)
