Found a mass market copy of Wilderness Tips today at the library sale if anyone would like it. There's a few creases in the spine but otherwise it is a decent copy for bag, purse or plane. Hi RidgewayGirl. Just adding my two cents about Margaret Atwood. The short story "The Age of Lead" from Wilderness Tips is one of my favourite short stories and I re-read it often. I loved Oryx and Crake too though, and The Blind Assassin and The Robber Bride and The Handmaid's Tale. You ... Thank you, Fasciknitting! So maybe Wilderness Tips or Oryx and Crake or Moral Disorder. I'm glad I have a few months to make these important decisions! >19: I remembered reading the story, but couldn't remember the title, so I looked it up. It's from Wilderness Tips and the story was "Hairball" (at least according to the world wide webs :P )

8. Wilderness Tips orOryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood Have just finished Wilderness Tips by Margaret Atwood which is a Virago but not a VMC. Next VMC I am going to read is also by Atwood - her first novel The Edible Woman - this is a reread for me having read it in the 80's but the memory is dim.

I like all Atwood books. ( except for one book of short stories -I think- Wilderness Tips that had a nasty caricature of a prominent Toronto writer.) I would read Alias Grace, The Blind Assassin and Moral Disorder-really great linked short stories. ... wondering what our next Atwood group read will be. I also own Life Before Man, The Robber Bride, The Edible Woman, Wilderness Tips and Cat's Eye. And I have never read any of these books as well so any of them would be good for me. Any other thoughts on our next group read?

Wilderness Tips by Margaret Atwood is one of my all-time favourites. If you're in the mood for short stories, definitely read that one. If you're in the mood for a giggle ...
