Seals is a non-fiction book written by Emily Rose Townsend. It consists of 24 pages of both information and photographs of seals. In the book she goes over seals in general what they like to do and their body parts. Some of the words that are hard have also been defined in the back of the book. Before reading this book All I knew about seals was that they were arctic animals. Whereas after I had completed the book I learned so much more like the types of food seals eat. Although this is the first book that I recall reading from this author. I would definitely recommend this book to early elementary students. If using for a research project the book also provides other sources in the back were students can find out more about seals. ( )
