Artist J. Alexander’s style is another departure for the series. It’s scratchy and detailed, giving everyone shadows under their eyes. It uses more lines and dark areas than the other artists on the series to tell you less, emphasizing the characters’ mysteries and hidden motivations in an illustration-influenced fashion.
