Self published book by Kate Beaton about history comics, and since she is Canadian there are even a few comics about Canada stuff. They are so rad I can't even explain it to you. I love this so much it's on my very small list of "books you will not touch", I usually love sharing things that make me happy but this first edition and pretty hard to get - being self published and sold out at the moment. You are shit out of luck until they publish more, but you can read most of her stuff at:
