"Poetry with a heart that anyone can relate to."

Renny Dolan believes that many will be able to relate to the poetry that's written in Animated Reality because each poem tells a story of past emotions, life and the innocence of childhood. I can see and feel the passion that lie behind the words of these poems. But, for me, the memories end there.

However, that doesn't mean I cannot appreciate what is written here. It will undoubtedly hold a special meaning for many readers. It's easy, too, to be wary of poetry; to avoid even attempting to make sense of it. But, Animated Reality is one such anthology that shouldn't be avoided. It should be embraced. It's inspiring, thought-provoking and a delight to read.

Let this be the one poetry collection you read this year. ( )

I was pleasantly captivated by New Leaf. ?Making our world much safer
for air, water, and weather too.? It is a beautiful and thought-
provoking way of expressing our need to care for our environment. As
a child, I loved to lie on my back and watch the clouds as they
pranced across the sky leaving intricate moving designs in their wake.
Rock and Roll summer brought back those pleasant memories. Life?s
Rocky Roads speaks to the determination not to fall in love but
meeting someone you are attracted to and unable to resist the emotions
rising in you. Rocks will remind readers of their childhood, the
carefree life of skipping rocks.
Renny Dolan is a talented poet. Too often poets make their meaning
obscure and hard to decipher. Not so with Dolan. His prose are easy
to follow and a delight to read. ( )
