Seasonal changes happens multiple times a year, and it effects all animals in all habitats. This book in great detail explains forest ecology. There was information in this book that I didn't even know, like snakes hibernating or how many different kinds of gall making insects live in North America. This is a must read for children, because it explains why, how and when about the seasons and the animals it affects. ( )
