Consistent with the previous books, the same theme about changing and fear of attachments revolve around the story, but because of the events and the well-written plot, the is the most interesting. I can't even begin to describe the witty and humorous banter Julia and Ben exchanged. Excellent character development, although Julia is the focus of the story, picking up where she left off, life on her own, and changing for the better, Ben is the perfect antidote, he's also healing his wounds (physically and emotionally). Two broken halves found each other to be whole. This story is rich in drama, humor, a lot of emotion, and intensely passionate love scenes. One minute they're arguing, the next minute they're tangled in each others arms. One would think they're using sex as a way of comfort, in this story it does give comfort but before things got serious, Julia and Ben came to realize that they can share more than just a quick roll between the sheets. Best parts are when characters reflect on their actions and how they feel for the other person, it's brilliant. Astounding piece of literature, if I could give more than 5 stars, make it 10. Had fun from beginning 'til the end. ( )no reviews | add a review
