If I were a visual artist, or I knew a new visual artist, I would buy them this book right away. As a theater artist, some of what was in this book didn't apply to me, but a significant portion of it did. Jackie's blueprint for a visual artist's career has many points and places that translate to the career of any artist - her ideas about building relationships, time and money management especially apply directly across the board, and any creative person making a career out of their creative pursuits would do well to read this book.
