One of the best networking books I have read, and the first book anybody should read on the subject. A very practical book that is easy to read. Mr. Mackay does a great a job in the using examples of great networkers such as - Larry King, Lou Holtz, and Muhammed Ali. This book is very entertaining helps you get out of your personal shell so to speak. I highly recommend. ( )

Even though this book was written years ago before Facebook and MySpace, I recently reread it and the advice is still timely today. ( )

What kinds of networks exist
How to start a network, and how to wring the most from it
The smart way to downsize your list--who to keep, who to dump

What you can do if you are not good at small talk
