I'm a fan of Sound Opinions, and love some of Jim's other books. Thanks to this book I've discovered a ton of other bands which is great. I found the book a little long at times, and i'm not entirely sure I can quite define what psychedelic music is still...some of the bands listed I would have never categorized as psychedelic, but good music is good music. The one major bummer is that, from reading this book, you'd think that the US and England are the only two places that created and came out with great historic albums. Good read though. ( )
