Work detailsEclipse by Stephenie Meyer (2007)
I could not get through the actual book back when I was reading the series, so I stopped. Listening to it is much better. Maybe it's cause I can do other things while listening. Out of all of the books I think I enjoyed this one the least, although I still did enjoy it. I felt there was a sense of everything getting just a little too comfortable, and was beginning to wonder exactly where the story could go next. This entire series are my absolute favorite books. Edward and Bella are back together and have to fight off bad vampires that are trying to kill them. I would make this a reccomendation book and would show it to students but not require them to read it. If I took a vote in my classroom and the students all wanted me to read it then I owuld read it out loud. I really enjoyed reading eclipse. I was found myself lost in reading. I would really recommend this to aol ages it was very exciting. Whew! Three days for that one, thought I would never get to the end. Heh! Ummm, ridiculous amount of typos, the editor should be fired and then shot! The story line held me...still. I had to read the teaser for the next book even, I wasn't ready for it to be over. I don't normally do that, but since the next one isn't out yet...I'm "only human". I'm not patient, so waiting for the next one as well as the next in the Inkheart and Eragon series all at once has me a bit irritable. (Oh, and if you feel the need to comment on the Eragon books, shut up, I don't care if it's a rip off of Star Wars' plot with LotR setting. I liked it anyway, even if the movie sucked and so did the video game.) Whatever, I'm tired, so this is a crappy "review". If you liked Twilight and New Moon, you're going to like this one as well, honest. My favorite in the series so far, for sure.
Ask any high school girl: boys can be a pain. Fall for one who seems appealing, and he turns out to be a monster. One moment he acts like you don’t exist, the next, he drives you crazy by playing it cool — while his brothers circle you with hungry eyes. If you take a break to cut the tension, and hang out “just friends”-style with a younger guy who’s puppy-dogging you, what happens? Wouldn’t you know, he turns out to be a nightmare too.
