This book discusses on a slightly higher level than "Can You See Me?" the apperance of animals. Some animals are able to be camouflaged which enables them to hide from other animals. Some are hiding to stay away from predators, and others are hiding to sneak up on their prey. Some deers, hares, fox, weasels even change their colors from summer to winter to blend into the snow. Great science book! ( )

This book informs readers of several different animals and their natural ways of protecting themselves from danger in the wild. Some change colors with season and some blend in with their natural surroundings. The book often allows for you really have to look for the animals hiding. This is a good book when teaching students about the many dangers that animals face in the wild and what they do to protect themselves.
