An interesting biography, part factual part fiction, about the life of Ethel Falkiner, born in 1879 and a member of 'high society' in Australia in the early 1900's. Ethel's granddaughter, Suzanne, has crafted a descriptive story of the lifestyle of women in those times from journals and travel writings as well as the copious notes which Ethel scribbled into most of her books.
