This is a lovely book to have and to give. Beautiful binding too. Perfect for reading in bed just before falling asleep: produces dreams! My single reservation is that these are NOT the best illustrations in Merriam-Webster's unsurpassed dictionaries. They a lovely personal choice by a man who has good taste and knows his subject but, alas, they are NOT what I would have picked. ( )
