Brilliant! Really Exciting and great plot twists. I can't wait for my cousin to read it. ( )

Enjoyable second adventure of young Molly Moon.

Yes, I know this is a juvenile class book, but it was still a fun read.

Molly Moon is an orphan with the ability to hypnotize people. In this adventure she learns how strong her powers are and more of what she can do. Along with her best friend Rocky and her pet Pug Petula, she has a wild adventure in the world or entertainment in Hollywood. Dazzling stars, powerful people and exciting events are all part of this story. Molly also finds out about how she came into this world and the family she has never met.

This is the second in the series of her adventures. I do plan to read the next one. ( )

This is not the sort of book I would've chosen to read, favouring the fantastic storylines of Percy Jackson et al, but I was assigned this for my book group so I figured I would give it a go. I managed a whopping fifty pages before the choices flashed before my eyes:

1. continue reading and forget any ideas of individuality or genuine conviction about anything I may have harboured;
2. abandon this book before my brain turned to mush and spend my time reading something that wasn't the literary equivalent of i-Carly;
3. suicide.

I opted for the second option, and just in time! I was beginning to see my friends as 'chubby' or 'totes uncool' instead of people with personalities and feelings that I wanted to spend time with regardless (or in spite) of whether they're sporting the latest One Direction t-shirt.

The characters in this book are shallow, one-dimensional and dull. I couldn't care less what happened to any of them. Frankly, the only good ending would've been for Molly to have got the main part in the play she so desired only to subsequently fall off stage and break her neck halfway through the performance. But I don't think I could've stomached another 200 or so pages to find out.

If this is what girls my age are perceived to think about all day then I wonder why no one has heard of this book and why books with substance and interesting characters like the Harry Potter series are so well regarded. Frankly, it's insulting to me that I was asked to waste spend my time reading this with a view to seriously discussing it afterwards.

Describe this book in four words? I literally can't even. ( )

Molly Moon is a knobby-kneed girl, that you probably won't find very dangerous, but as you say that, her eyes can turn on you, her very estatic green eyes, and you can become instantly hypnotized. But, she probably has no time for that. She has her own fish to fry.

Molly moon meets an unexpected Library, who turns out to be her mom, and her name is Lucy Logan. Lucy sends Molly Moon to a mission to uncover what Primo Cell is doing.

Primo Cell is a very queer figure. And according to Molly's findings, Primo is hypnotizing people. But not just mere on-the-street people, but very famous celebraties. Why? So he can become very powerful, and become the US president.

Molly Moon sets out on vacation with her orphanage, Happiness House, and her pet Petula, and her best friend Rocky, to America. Undercover, she spies out for Primo.

After various sightings in him, and information from hypnotized people that was hypnotized by primo himself, she relized that he was locking his information with a password, and doing that by freezing the world.

Throught the many adventures, Molly goes through lots, and almost gets killed, but eventually, solves the adventure.

Molly Moon saves the day again!!

Read the book to find out more exciting descriptions and details than ever!!!!!!!!! ( )
