parts of the collection of photographs captured in this tome were displayed at the national museum of women in the arts in washington d.c. .. a lovely exhibit. i couldn't wait to see if there was a catalogue, and this document does not disappoint. as a record of that experience walking through seemingly endless and thrilling galleries of a new york becoming, some of its past, some if it yet to be ... the grit and the grandeur. ah, new york.
