Thanks for the suggestion pamelad! I've been hunting for a copy of Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep for years but it's impossible to find a second hand copy anywhere. I may have to splash out and buy a new one...or try the library.

Dropping in to suggest Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep for your dystopian category. Another that's not quite dystopian, but a brilliant book is War with the Newts. Adding The White Tiger to my list and putting The Inheritance of Loss on the bottom of the pile. Thank you.

Blade Runner may be a good film, but it's a poor adaptation of Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?. A good adaptation should surely remain mostly faithful to the source text.
