literally who is writing these reviews??? this book just made me cringe the entire way through. Like the only reason it isn't 2 stars is that it was nice to realize that 9th grade nina was not the most angsty person on the planet-- every character in this book just screams angst.
I think if I read this like 6 or 7 years ago I'd give it 5 stars but it's just..... a bit of a hot mess??? ( )

This. You see this book? it's the best book I ever read. Maybe it is because I feel like Zach felt for most of the book. And it made me cry the whole time. It had been a long time since I last felt something -anything- while reading a book. And I just felt understood. This book gave me hope, and has now become my favourite.
The writing was great, making you feel close to Zach. Just... I recommend this to everyone. ( )

This is a beautiful but heart-wrenching tale of a young man dealing with addiction and an incredibly difficult family situation. Seriously, I cried about every 10 pages through out the book but also couldn't stop reading it. ( )
