This is a great rhyming book that shows kids what you can do with shapes: staking, rolling, slanting and so on. I would like to use this book in class to start a geometry lesson. ( )

Shapes That Roll is a brightly illustrated book that effectively and playfully explores the properties of shapes. The written text is setin rhyming couplets which will appeal to younger children. The images have a textural effect used with some of the inks, making the pages more touchable. ( )
