I have been a reader and fan of xkcd.com for a long time so when the book came out, I didn't hesitate (despite the high international postage costs). I have to admit though that some of the cartoons were disappointing - it was obviously Munroe's earlier work which doesn't get so many laughs. But others more than made up for it such as the chess player on the rollercoaster and the "I licked your daughter's nipples" guy who meets his girlfriend's parents!!

The book was also a lot slimmer than I thought. So for the price, it is not that much. But as the previous reviewer said, by buying it, you're supporting the website so I guess it's not that bad.

Looking forward to a book 2, much thicker and much funnier. ( )

A collection of xkcd cartoons, including the mouseover text, with marginalia , some of which form a puzzle I didn’t even bother to try figuring out. Cute and I felt good supporting the site. ( )
