I wasn't that surprised when Cecily showed up at the Institute's door at the end. I mean, with the whole demon curse thing, I'm sure it reached his family somehow. Plus, somebody who hates Will probably attacked her and then she ran to the Institute. ( )

Yeah, light hearted, steam punky fluff. Love it :-) I like it's set generations before the other series. Definitely teenage angsty, but I like the world building. ( )

This book was so lovely. It was a great second book in the series. I loved the developed of the triangle between Jem, Tessa and Will. I am still so torn about who i want tessa to be with. This is maybe one of the best triangles I ever read in literature. I loved the twist with both will and also jessie. I really did not see both of them coming and this is hard for me to. It was fast pace novel and the side characters were really developed and i grew to really love sophia. It also love the evilness that lightwoods showed. It was much more fast pace then the previous novel. I am so excited for the next one. ( )

Epigraph
"I wish you to know that you have been the last to dream of my soul....Since I knew you, I have been troubled by a remorse that I thought would never reproach me again, and have heard whispers from old voices impelling me upward, that I thought were silent for ever. I have had unformed ideas of striving afresh, beginning anew, shaking off sloth and sensuality, and fighting out the abandoned fight. A dream, all a dream, that ends in nothing..."
