Loading... The Amazing Spider-Man: Death and Datingby Mark Waid
None. Truly a teen-friendly comic pulling together great work from a variety of writers and artists. Great to get some background on the super-heroine Jackpot and Jonah Jameson's father. ( )Spidey is stuck in the subway under the river between the Bronx and Manhattan, fighting off the Shocker and trying to save the jury members he has targeted for death. Also, he meets one of the jurors, J. Jonah Jameson's father, who is a surprisingly decent man. A couple of more good action stories, before the finale, in which Betty Brant devotes herself to finding a girl for her best friend, Peter Parker, and we begin to see what it is about Pete that makes his friends put up with his unreliability and sudden exits. A good, funny, charming story. no reviews | add a review
