A collection of concise stories perfect for kids (or adults) who have a short attention span. These stories aren't as creepy as the ones in Short & Shivery: Thirty Chilling Tales. The illustrations, on the other hand, are super creepy! ( )

Twenty-eight short stories that are funny, macabre, or just plain spooky. Read if you DARE.

This was a meh sequel. Somehow the writing seemed very watered down in the retelling or maybe rushed without putting much effort in. Still good for kids for horror genre and reading out loud but I suggest the treasury if you want the series because the third one gets better. ( )

No where near as good as the first. ( )
