'hurry-ups' and 'never-forgetters' are not nouns any child needs to learn ( )An easy reader science book for kindergarten to grade two. Simple text and rhymes with silly cartoon illustrations teach about proper hygiene and manners to prevent the spread of infection. Additional explanation from parents and teachers will be needed to explain why those who cough, sneeze, lick their fingers or skip meals are helping the germs to spread. Okay, but I had hoped for a book with more detailed explanations and scientific illustrations or photos. This rhyming books describes good and bad germ habits. It explains what germs are, what they do, what they "like" (not that single celled organisms or viruses can really like things, but these are things that allow germs to infect people), and what they "don't like" (how to prevent spreading them). It's loaded with good and bad practices for children to learn about. no reviews | add a review
