I saw the exhibit of manuscripts from the Bodleian Library at the Jewish Museum two weeks ago and just read the accompanying book. Rather than just a catalogue, this book is a series of 10 essays that highlight different aspects of this collection of manuscripts in Hebrew, Latin and Arabic. The connections between scholars, and books were well documented in the essays and the examples from the manuscripts were quite striking. In the actual exhibit, the use of ipads to show all the pages in a selected book was a good use of new technology. ( )
