This is the version of the book based on the movie (not the Choose Your Own Adventure version). The book follows the Mickey Mouse movie version pretty well with illustrations of the characters in the book pulled directly from the film.

A little long for a read-aloud, but great opportunity for a lot of character voices. Keeps the story simple for a younger audience and ties characters together - including the obvious Scrooge McDuck - into the narrative. ( )
