a book i couldnt put down...and like the story of the indianapolis, this story has you thinking how the hell we won the war?!? in the same sort of vein, it follows the chronicles of hmas perth from commissioning to an early entry into wwii, and then fatefully, posted back to the defence of indonesia and australia. eyewitness accounts and official records help make this book a gripping read to the end.
