In this story, Lulu dresses up in a variety of ways and we get to observe
her in her variety of adventures that pertain to each outfit. She tries a pirate, tiger
and many other costumes and has to become the superhero she is in each outfit. ( )

An entertaining girl-power story about a little girl who decides to play dress up, plus her activities in each outfit. She dresses up as everything from a tiger to an astronaut to a fairy, and she can do whatever that character does. Each spread includes a static, pastel, almost delicate, realistic illustration of her in her outfit, but leaves the rest of the page blank, leaving room for the child to imagine the scenery, just as Lulu does. Recommended for public libraries. Ages 2-4. ( )
