1150 Gotz von Berlichingen: A Play, by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe (read 13 Jan 1972) This is Goethe's first published play. I would like to see it performed. It has too little poetics in it. And of course Gotz is a crook, in ways. ( )

Some considerable foxing spoils the title page, in particular. This copy was presented to Bedford College Library by G.E.M.Jebb in April 1947.
