An era of movies that deserves some discussion, but this is mainly a writer airing his 'clever' at their expense. That is, it's rather like a compilation of blog entries in which he tells you which movies he watched and what he thought about them, but there's no information about the productions themselves -- it's not that type of book. The book's table of contents doesn't specify which films are covered in each chapter, and book has no index, so its value as a reference is . . . nil. (A book about film with NO INDEX? Nuts.) no reviews | add a review
