Sounds quite a bit like Love Comes Softly, by Janette Oke if you want to check it out. I've actually not read it, but based on the thousands of times I've heard my friends talk about the book it might be a match. ... Cahill series, I think you'd like them alot! I reread them every month or so.
I'm glad that you'd like to read them, Love Comes Softly means alot to me, it was one of the first series my grandmother let me borrow from her when I started to like reading again so it is a book held close to ... ... through the channels, but always wanted to read the books first, and somehow never got around to it. I'll have to push Love Comes Softly up my list now that you've recommended it, though, Catey! I got Deadly Love by Brenda Joyce from the library today, looking forward to reading it! Thanks, Marcia, I will see if I can watch it online. I know Katherine Heigl plays in it. She also plays in Love Comes Softly. My favorite series of historical fiction books and I love the movies as well, have you seen them or read them? My sis and I are going to watch all of the Love Comes Softly series this week. I love the books and the movies!
I haven't watched any Grey's Anatomy but I have heard good things about it though. :) ... you want more of. That said, I own a mess of it -- LOL

I have read her Love Comes Softly series many times, and although I know it is "sentimental fluff" I can't help loving it more with each reading. I recently discovered Penelope Stokes ... Years ago, I read Love Comes Softly by Janette Oke and the sequels. At the time, I was moving away from most of my family and it was very difficult. These books spoke to me at that time in my life. They certainly aren't classics, but I enjoyed them. They are quick, inspiring reads.
