The Would-Be Widow is the story of Lady Jocelyn, who is required to marry in order to prevent her scheming aunt from taking over her rightful inheritance. Jocelyn marries a dying Major and promises to provide for his sister after his demise. However, much to her surprise, the Major is able to recover, with the help of a knowledgeable doctor. As the Major finds himself falling in love with Jocelyn, she can't help but succumb to his charms-but will they proceed with their annulment? Or has love found Lady Jocelyn?
I thoroughly enjoyed this Regency-just the right amount of tension, love and romance to make it an exciting book. Great edition to any romance lover's library. ( )
