I just finished several Jerry Spinelli books: Space Station Seventh Grade, Jason and Marceline, and Milkweed. I don't know if I have a favorite of Spinelli's. They are all so good, but in different ways. As a teacher, I am always looking for books to recommend to my students. ... in reading a couple of his other books, namely Never Let Me Go, The Remains of the Day, and A Pale View of Hills.)

I'm also half-way ... Well, I've finished Milkweed by Jerry Spinelli, a beautiful book about a gypsy orphan living on the streets of Nazi-occupied Warsaw, Poland. Very, very sad, but beautiful and touching nonetheless. I've been a fan of Spinelli since Maniac McGee, and this is another great read by this author ... ... and the second was Kristina: The Girl King. Both were good, but one ended much happier than the other. I also read Milkweed by Jerry Spinelli. It was very good. It was a little different than I expected--I found it oddly similar to how Ender's Shadow starts out--but by the end I ... The True Story of Hansel and Gretel, The Seige by Helen Dunmore, The Madonnas of Leningrad, YA titles Milkweed by Jerry Spinelli, Good Night Mr. Tom, and The Amazing Story of Adolphus Tips..will start The Book Thiefsoon.
