With illustration as aesthetically unpleasing as the story, Cassidy and Afif have put forth a thin child's tale of "don't touch what isn't yours, and wash up after playtime." The meaning is hidden, and children might be confused. But if your child is locked up neatly inside an adult shell, this may be the key to get that child out. Yes, to skip, dance, sing, and flee from dirty bunnies.

The bunny is Swine, and he goes on a trip that he will never forget. Not as pleasing as the post-Victorian-set novel "Hitty", it is set in our time, and is more deliverable for modern readers. ( )
