Book description
Rosemary has been betrothed to Drake since she was a young girl. The Binding will be final once they physically consummate their marriage. Rosemary has been nursing her pain and anger at Drake ever since she came upon him having sex with a nymph. She has tried her best to break the betrothal to no avail as everyone believes they are destined to be together. Drake has sent her notice of his intention to complete their Binding and seal her fate as his wife.

Rosemary’s feelings are completely understandable to this reader. Her hopes and dreams were dashed when she found Drake in a compromising position and the anger that ensued was normal. Rosemary is a grown woman who questions the double standard that is in place for her as a woman. She is suppose to remain virginal until her marriage but the man can fool around if he wishes. Drake is a man who regrets what he has done. He truly loves Rosemary and wants a life with her. The sexual attraction between them is quite strong and the storyline reflects it.

The Binding is a dynamic story and great beginning to this new series. The author provides a lot of information regarding this world and its inhabitants. Although it is only 39 pages long, the story moves at a quick pace and the characters are very developed for the length of the book. The reader has a concise understanding of where each of the characters is coming from. This was a quick and very enjoyable read!
