I liked this book because of the poetry. Some of the poems are familiar to the reader. For example the ants go marching in and some are different like A Diller a Dollar, “A diller, a dollar, a ten o clock scholar”. These poems are super engaging about different aspects of school. A person could read one every day to learn more. I also liked the poetry because it rhythmed “write, might, sight bright” These words make the poem easy to read. I also liked the use of the dogs as illustrations. It projects diversity in a way that is easy to understand. All of the different dog breeds represent someone different. I also liked the use of dogs because they are relatable. Most people have dogs or know someone who has a dog. The main message of the book is to inspire others to love school. ( )
