tinylittlelibrarian in What Are You Reading Now? : What You're Reading the Week of 12 January 2008 (Jan 14, 2008, 2:36pm) ... wasn't "required reading," so to speak - it's too creepy and weird for me.
I'm also reading my first 888 Challenge book, Blue Bloods by Melissa de la Cruz, and quite enjoying it. Rather Gossip Girl with vampires, but entertaining. Bad YA librarian, I should have read it when it first came out, ... Sounds like you had a great weekend, foggi. :)
I'm going to start reading Melissa de la Cruz's Blue Bloods today. I've just checked out Blue Bloods for the first in my Vampire theme, but haven't started it yet. Blue Bloods and it's sequel Masquerade are by Melissa de la Cruz and they are also teen vampire books. They can't compare with the Twilight series (but not much can) but they were enjoyable and have a very unique take on where vampires come from. This is a series and I look forward to ... ... about Edward vs. Jacob I have a similar question from another book for you.
For those who have read the vampires stories Blue Bloods and /or Masquerade who should Schuyler choose?
Oliver or Jack? I would certainly suggest Melissa de la Cruz's books, Blue Bloods and Masquerade, Amelia Atwater-Rhodes' vampire books (my favorite of hers is Shattered Mirror), Kresley Cole's A Hunger Like No Other and No Rest for the Wicked and J.R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood ... ... I haven't read the Jane Yolen book yet). I would also add many of the popular vampire stories such as Twilight, Blue Bloods and Vampire Kisses to this catagory, as well as books like Meg Cabot's Mediator and 1-800-Where-R-You? stories. 260 Morphidae
LOL
It was Blue Bloods by Melissa de la Cruz. I'd heard some good things about it and I like a lot of YA fantasy, and some vampire fic, so...but no. ... On Saturday of this week I got four books in the mail and I just finished the last one, and I read them in this order: Blue Bloods, Feed, The Earth, My Butt, & other BIG Round Things, and finally the perks of being a wallflower.
I plan to read A Separate Peace and The Chocolate ... ... almost through reading Masquerade: A Blue Bloods Novel by Melissa de la Cruz. Although it is interesting, I enjoyed Blue Bloods more. ... I also noticed my earlier post about Blue Bloods and thought I'd update it. I read this book Thanksgiving night and really enjoyed it. It was very interesting and I already have the sequel on my wishlist :-) My mom is reading Beauty at the moment so I have to wait on that one. I started and finished Blue Bloods Thanksgiving night. I really enjoyed the story and am looking forward to reading her next one when it comes out. Right now I'm reading Startled by his Furry Shorts. ... Blue Bloods sounds like something I'd want to read - I love L.J. Smith (or at least I did; I think it's been at least five years since I reread any of her books). How does Stephenie Meyer compare to L.J. Smith? That' ... I guess I'll have to put Blue Bloods on my "have to read very soon" list LOL I have 6 books out from the library right now with 3 I need to pick up. I'm not requesting anything else (you have no idea how hard it is for me to not keep requesting books) but Blue Bloods will be my first when I'm ... demonlover--- I just finished reading Blue Bloods. I seriously read it in like two hours straight. I started and couldn't put it down. It's the best YA vampire novel I've read in a long time. It's got interesting characters, cool world building, and a whole gothic/old money/incest thing which I ... I've heard a lot about Blue Bloods, I'm curious to know what you think of it.
Today I'll be starting Secrets by F.M. McPherson which is a YA werewolf novel. I've just started Blue Bloods by Melissa de la Cruz. I'm also reading Lolita for the first time.
