This is a good lift-the-flap book with fun surprises under the flaps. The information uses basic information and fun humor. I have not met a child yet that does not enjoy a flap book. I enjoyed the illustrations. They are colorful and realistic. I especially liked the picture of the Wobbegong shark. ( )

Though filled with many interesting facts, I was turned off by this books little shark jokes that popped up every so often. I worry that the attempts at humor might confuse young readers. ( )
