This book is very unique and unlike any poetry collection I've seen. J. Patrick Lewis takes zany world records (like most cobras kissed and dumbest dinosaur) and puts them into shorter verses. A very cute read.

I think my 2nd grade boys would really enjoy this collection. It would even spark some interest in a read-aloud, for sure! ( )

Comic illustrations by Keith Graves make this the funniest, wackiest, rhyming-est book on the shelf.… (more)
