A nicely-turned Star Trek adventure that is the first of a series, cutting across all the Star Trek family. Basically, the Klingons are menaced by an unknown invasion and ask for Kirk's help, and both races find the opponents of disturbing familiarity. Well-written and fast-paced. ( )
