This book was about a boy who got a green Ball and he brought it for everyone to play with it. One day they hit it into the woods and it was lost. For months they looked for it but no luck. In the end he finds out that a magician took it. Therefore he secretly switches them. This book is good for k-1st. You could do small group discussion or whole group on the colors or fall. ( )

This is about a boy that loses his green ball. He has to resort to scheming with his friends to get the ball back. When the lady that stole it won't give it back, they paint a grapefruit green in order to switch the balls. This shows children thinking abstractly. They had to think outside the box in order to get the green ball back.
