Book description
It wasn't a match made in heaven. Genteel Sylvan St. John and boxer Pete Canella were going to fight each other every step of the way. When Sylvan returned to see her father after so many years, the handsome young boxer was suspicious. Had she come back for the old man's money? Well, Pete would protect his boxing trainer and make sure Sylvan earned every cent. He set the rules: She would live under his eagle eye and help him and her father prepare for the championship bout. Sylvan bristled, but Pete was a man who got his way. Soon "the fighter and the lady" were headline news. He threatened to love her as a gentleman never would. But could the icy aristocrat accept the boxer's challenge? Did she dare sacrifice her pride for her passion?
