A piping-hot stack of buttered pancakes drenched in maple syrup is an all-American image. But the age-old tradition of preparing pancakes comes from countries all around the world-from the crisp lentil patties of Southern India to the buckwheat blini of Russia to the delicate crêpes of France. Within this little volume are great pancake recipes! The book includes colorful and taste-tempting photographs. Each recipe is on its own page that opens flat for easy-to-read directions as you embark on a morning culinary delight. Of course, there's a different one for each day. Beside being easy-to-make pancakes with easy-to-find ingredients, it also offers suggestions for sauces and topping to compliment each type of pancake.

I took wonderful little to the beach with our family for a week. Each morning I was able to offer a different kind of pancake. All that I made were met with rave reviews. Remember, this book is tiny enough to tote anywhere. ( )
