CHILDRENS INFORMATIONAL: This book is an example of an informational, because it talks about several different insects. It does not elaborate on them, however it provides illustrations that show exactly which bugs are which. It also rhymes, so it is fun for kids to read and learn at the same time.

An ant and 59 other American insects appear in a catchy chant that jumps, flits, and flies across flasy spreads...The text and illustrations are a natural pairing for exploring the insect world. ( )
