Picked this up from the library having flipped through it at Third Place. Not for the dad in this family, who is marginally handy, but for the boy to look through to see if any projects might float his boat for a family activity. There are a few . . . especially the climbing wall idea, which we may put together for the basement. For many of the outside projects, you need a BIG yard with big trees (think zip lines and tire swings), something that we lack in our urban lot . . . Coming in at the other end of the spectrum, the quick paper airplane was the best paper flyer we have ever built. ( )
