Loading... Oh My Gosh, Mrs. McNosh (2002)by Sarah Weeks
None. This book is about a lady who was walking her dog. The dog ran away from her and she had to look for him for a long time until she finally gave up. The dog ends up coming back to the house. I would use this book for younger elmentary students. Mrs. McNosh took a walk in the park with a dog who didn't listen and made a mess. His name was George. Nelly ended up chasing him and yelling 'I will catch you' and then she finally gave up on catching him. At the end of the story, he came back to the front door step. This would be a great book for the younger grade levels to introduce what rhyming words are and how we know if a word rhymes or doesn't rhyme. This book is about Mrs. McNosh who is walking her dog. The dog had gotten away from her and McNosh had looked for her dog for the longest time until she grew tired. She had returned home without her dog and by surprise her dog had shown back up at her house. This book has a good storyline and has a good suspense when she is trying to find her dog. In this story, Mrs. McNosh loses her dog and searches everywhere for it. She decides to give up and head home because she was unable to find her dog. When she arrives home, her dog is there waiting for her! This book will be good to have in the classroom because the kids can get involved because they are able to predict what will happen next in the story.
This is a great book to add to a lesson about rhyming.
