Overall, Mujerista Theology is a joy read and an incredibly important contribution to feminism and feminist theology. Isasai-Diaz does an excellent job explaining the need for theology that emerges from and responds to the experiences of a specific community. Her community, Latina women in the USA, is then treated a case study for how to draw on the specific nature of a group to form strategies that can hopefully be applied universally. ( )
