Work detailsThe Winner by David Baldacci (1997)
Blah.. ( )Haven't read this book in about fourteen years, and it was such a fluff easy read, even back then. A bit ridiculous and outside my usual reading comfort zone, but entertaining nonetheless. My blog post about this book is at this link. Well written, fast paced, kept up the tension. Intriguing mystery based on a premise I could see happening - someone has fixed the lottery. Loved the characters, especially LuAnn and Charlie. Many authors don't put as much work into characterization as the do plot, but Baldacci did in this case. no reviews | add a review
