This is a folktale that emphasized on honesty and justice will arrive. This is a story about this boy who asked help from the North wind. The North wind provided the boy with what he needed, but every time when the boy got back home and wanted to show to his mom what he got, the things never worked.
This is a good read for 2nd grade to 4th grade. ( )

Peter and the North Wind is about a young boy named Peter who sets off on an adventure to get his flour back, but comes away with so much more. This was a very entertaining and magical book and I would use this in my classroom to jump start my students imagination for an assignment in which they have to write their own folk tale. This book is suitable for the grades 1 and 2 and the theme could be folk tales. ( )

This book is about a boy who travels to the north wind and receives magic things just to have them stolen from him by an inn keeper. I would use this book because it teaches a nice lesson about stealing. I would use it for grades 2-4.
